Every year, more and more people are born of parents of different races. Some very famous people have one Black parent and one white parent, or any other ethnicity. Many of these celebs identify with both of their unique cultures. Several half-Black celebrities have gone on to have successful careers in film, music, sports, and politics.
Who is the most famous half Black celebrity? Female actor Halle Berry tops our list. The Catwoman actress' mother is Caucasian of English and German descent and her father is African American. Berry made history in 2002 when she became the first woman of African American heritage to win the Oscar for Best Leading Actress for her performance in the film Monster's Ball. Other famous actresses and celebrity women who are half Black include Vanessa Williams, Rashida Jones, and Lisa Bonet. Stars like Tiger Woods and Kimora Lee Simmons are half-Black and half-Asian.
Several famous men are also half-Black. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson's mother is of Samoan heritage and his father is of Black Nova Scotian descent. Alicia Keys's mother Teresa Augello is Caucasian, of half-Italian and half-English, Irish and Scottish descent, and her father Craig Cook is African-American.
Tiger Woods's mother Kultida Tida is of Thai, Chinese and Dutch ancestry, and his father Earl is mostly African-American, but he is also Caucasian, and possibly also Native American and Chinese.
