Jackson Odell, the actor best-known for his role as Ari Caldwell on The Goldbergs, was found unresponsive in his Tarzana, CA, home on June 8, 2018. The cause of death was not initially released, but in August 2018, it was confirmed he died of an accidental cocaine and heroin overdose. He was 20 years old.
