List of Famous People with Jewish Fathers ranked by fame and popularity. Many famous people have been raised by Jewish fathers and mothers of a different faith. Some famous folks adopted one religion, while others found that a combination of faiths worked for them. Several celebrities explored a wide variety of religions into their adulthood.

Who is the most famous person with a Jewish father? Sarah Jessica Parker tops our list. The “Sex and the City” star has a Jewish father, and her mother has no specific religion. Parker identifies herself as Jewish, although she has had no religious training. Her husband, Matthew Broderick, was brought up in a similarly interfaith family. The Ferris Bueller's Day Off star was raised by a Jewish mother and a Catholic father.

Seven actress Gwyneth Paltrow's father was Jewish, and her mother was brought up as a Quaker. She used to say that she did not believe in any religion, but more recently Paltrow has stated that she will be raising her children as Jewish. Paltrow's husband, Chris Martin, was raised as an Episcopalian, but he does not follow any particular faith today.
