  • Béla Kondor (PestszentlÅ‘rinc, February 17, Budapest, 1931 – December 12, 1972) was a Hungarian painter, prose writer, poet, photographer, and avant-garde graphic artist.

  • Cornell Capa (April 10, 1918 – May 23, 2008) was a Hungarian American photographer, member of Magnum Photos, photo curator, and the younger brother of photo-journalist and war photographer Robert Capa. Graduating from Imre Madách Gymnasium in Budapest, he initially intended to study medicine, but instead joined his brother in Paris to pursue photography. Cornell was an ambitious photo enthusiast who founded the International Center of Photography in New York in 1974 with help from Micha Bar-Am after a stint of working for both Life magazine and Magnum Photos.

  • Dániel Halász

    Daniel Halasz (born as Halász Dániel in Hungary, 1981) is a photographer living and working in Budapest, known for his contemporary landscapes and conceptual work. Halasz grew up in Hungary and later lived in Belgium and the UK. After studying at the University of York and the London School of Economics, he was admitted to the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest. He also spent a semester at the Glasgow School of Art in 2009. His most recent show was at the world-renowned Saatchi Gallery in London.   • Károly Escher

    Károly Escher (21 October 1890 - 16 February 1966) was a Hungarian photographer. Escher was born in Szekszárd, in the Tolna region of Hungary. He worked as a cinematographer on news reels during the briefly lived Hungarian Soviet Republic. Later he worked for the newspaper Pesti Napló during the 1930s and 1940s. He died at age 75 in Budapest in 1966.
