As the religion developed in Jamaica - the home of reggae music - it's no surprise so many celebrity Rastafarians are prominent in the reggae genre. Bob Marley is perhaps the best known of the Rastafarian singers. He was, in fact, largely responsible for spreading the religion globally throughout the 1970s, inspiring many other famous people to convert. What other celebs are Rastafarians? Many other reggae stars were raised Rastafarian or were drawn to the religion later in life. Not every notable Rastafari is a reggae singer, however. Rapper Snoop Dogg converted to the religion in 2012 and model Carla Campbell is reportedly Rastafari.
