Guillermo Vilas is a retired professional tennis player from Argentina who won four Grand Slam singles titles. Known for his prolific match play, especially on clay, he became the second man to win more than 900 matches in the Open Era, and his 660 wins on clay are by far the most of the era. His peak was the 1977 season during which he won two major titles, had two long match win streaks of 46 all-surface and 53 on clay, and finished with an Open Era record 134 match wins. Gabriela Beatriz Sabatini is an Argentine former professional tennis player. She was one of the leading players on the women's circuit in the late-1980s and early-1990s. She won the women's singles title at the US Open in 1990, the women's doubles title at Wimbledon in 1988, two Year-End Championships in 1988 and 1994, and a silver medal at the 1988 Olympic Games. Sabatini also won most of the highest level regular events on the women's tour, including Miami and Rome. Juan Martín del Potro, often nicknamed Delpo, is an Argentine professional tennis player. His biggest achievement was winning the 2009 US Open, defeating Rafael Nadal in the semifinal and Roger Federer in the final. This title earned him the distinction of being the only man outside the Big Four to win a Grand Slam between the 2005 French Open and the 2013 US Open, a span of 35 tournaments. He is also the second Argentine and the fifth-youngest man to win the US Open title in the Open Era. His other career highlight was winning the bronze medal in men's singles at the London Olympics in 2012. David Pablo Nalbandian is a retired Argentine professional tennis player and former World No. 3. He was runner-up at the 2002 Wimbledon Championships and the winner of the Tennis Masters Cup in 2005. He has also won two Masters 1000 events.
