Tomáš Berdych is a Czech professional tennis player. His most notable achievement was reaching the final of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships, causing consecutive upsets by defeating top seed and six-time champion Roger Federer in the quarterfinals, and World No. 3 Novak Djokovic in the semifinals. In the final, he lost to Rafael Nadal in straight sets. Berdych's biggest career win to date was the Paris Masters in 2005 as an unseeded player, defeating Ivan Ljubicic in the final. Berdych is one of a handful of active players to have reached the semifinals of all four Grand Slams. Petra Kvitová is a Czech professional tennis player. Known for her powerful left-handed shots and variety, she has won fifteen career singles titles including two Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon. She reached her career-high ranking of world no. 2 in October 2011, and is currently ranked no. 4 as of 2 March 2015. During her breakthrough season of 2011, Kvitová won her first Grand Slam title at the Wimbledon Championships, becoming the first and currently the only Grand Slam event winner of either gender born in the 1990s. Lucie Šafářová is a professional Czech tennis player. She was born in Brno. Šafářová has won six WTA tour singles titles, five doubles titles and reached the quarterfinals of the 2007 Australian Open, upsetting defending champion Amélie Mauresmo en route. Billie Jean King, former World No. 1 player, said in 2006 that Navratilova is "the greatest singles, doubles and mixed doubles player who's ever lived." In 2005, Tennis magazine selected her as the greatest female tennis player for the years 1965 through 2005. Tennis historian and journalist Bud Collins has called Navratilova "arguably, the greatest tennis player of all time."
