Simona Halep is a Romanian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world Number 3. Halep first broke into the world's top 50 at the end of 2012, the top 20 in August 2013, and then the top 10 in January 2014. She won her first 6 WTA titles in the same calendar year in 2013, being named the WTA's Most Improved Player at its end, as well as being named ESPN Center Court's 2013 Most Improved Player. Ilie "Nasty" Năstase is a Romanian former world No. 1 professional tennis player, one of the world's top players of the 1970s. Năstase was ranked world No. 1 between 1973 and 1974. He is one of the five players in history to win more than 100 ATP professional titles. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1991. Năstase won seven Grand Slam titles: two in singles, three in men's doubles, and two in mixed doubles.
