Airinė Palšytė is a Lithuanian high jumper. Born on 13 July 1992 in Kaunas, Lithuania. Mother Daiva, father Aurimas and also has two years younger brother Dominykas. 1998 started learning in Simono Stanevičiaus High School. 2006 she entered Žemyna's gymnasium. In 2010 she finished gymnasium and started studying at Vilnius University, Faculty of Communications. After Bachelor studies started Master at Vilnius University, Faculty of Economics. Her personal best jump is 1.98 metres, achieved both in July and repeated in August 2014 in Kaunas and Eberstadt. Austra Skujytė is a Lithuanian athlete, competing in both the heptathlon and the decathlon. On 15 April 2005 in Columbia, Missouri, she broke the women's decathlon world record, with a score of 8366. Her personal best in the 7-event heptathlon of 6599 was set on 4 August at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Skujytė graduated with a degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University, where she became the first woman at the school to win multiple NCAA championships, capturing titles in the heptathlon in 2001 and 2002.
