Gamers are a picky bunch, and they are not afraid to let people know how much they hate a game. On the other hand, they're also not afraid to love a game that everyone else hates, and that's exactly what we saw in an AskReddit thread asking fans which games they loved that everyone else hates.

Some of these games were critical darlings that fans hated. Others were universally hated, but still have their niche fans. Either way, these games sure have stirred up a lot of debate. Check out the games people love despite everyone hating them, and don't forget to vote up your favorites.

Bioshock 2. I know people don't consider the story to be as impactful as the first one, but the gameplay is way more polished. Also, I get to use a f*ckin' drill as a weapon. That is sweet.

    Great game?

    Fallout 4.

Yeah, dialogue trees weren't as varied as the predecessors, but the game was fantastic. My melee playthrough is one of the stupidest and most enjoyable RPG experiences I have ever had. Opening up the skill tree to where you could, with enough time, fully complete it gave so much more freedom to experiment on the fly. The base building was a novel idea that would have been 1000x better if you could let your settlements naturally develop instead of micromanaging an entire map.

It gets so much hate and I simply don't get why.

    Great game?

Mass Effect: Andromeda. I liked the huge worlds, the storyline, the terraforming element, and I played it about a year in so I didn't have any graphical issues.

    Great game?

    Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

I'm not a big fan of Zelda games, but I got it because I wanted to give the franchise another chance and it was newest game at the time.

It did eventually get me into Ocarina of Time.

    Great game?
