All Elite Wrestling is focused on giving pro wrestling fans an alternative to the WWE and has so far delivered in that regard. One thing that AEW has been criticized for during the infancy of the promotion is the handling of their women's division. However, like most businesses, professional wrestling is a marathon, not a sprint. And while the men’s roster has been stacked with top talent, the AEW female roster is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with.

Whether it's the veterans like Awesome Kong or Allie holding it down in the ring or the fresh faces who are new to North American pro wrestling audiences like Kris Stanlander, the AEW Women's division is finally taking shape and starting to develop some really interesting characters and putting on really great matches. Who’s your favorite AEW women wrester?

Vote up all the best female wrestlers currently signed to AEW so readers can see which wrestlers are the best faces, and which make great heels.

    Britt Baker

    • Pro Debut: August 1st, 2015
    • Finisher: Lockjaw
    • Real Name: Brittany Baker

Britt Baker signed with AEW in January of 2019 and has been a prominent figure in their women's division ever since. Baker isn't just a professional wrestler; she works as a dentist in Orlando Florida on days she isn't traveling (and wrestling) with AEW.

    Hikaru Shida

    • Pro Debut: July 20th, 2008
    • Finisher: Falcon Arrow
    • Real Name: Hikaru Shida

Hikaru Shida is the quiet workhorse of the AEW women's division. While the division has faced some well-deserved criticism as it tries to find its footing, one thing most agree on is that Hikaru Shida has been involved in most of the division's best matches. That isn't a coincidence, and the audience has taken notice and seems to be behind her more and more with each passing week.

    Penelope Ford

    • Pro Debut: December 17th, 2014
    • Finisher: Stunner
    • Real Name: Olivia Hasler

Penelope Ford has been used sparingly in the ring since the start of her tenure with AEW. She has spent more of her screen time accompanying Superbad Kip Sabian to the ring. Before signing with AEW, Ford was a mainstay in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU).

    • Pro Debut: May 20th, 2005
    • Finisher: BSE (Best Superkick Ever)
    • Real Name: Laura Dennis

Allie is a veteran wrestler who has appeared in various promotions all over the world. She still gets in the ring from time to time, but appears to be more focused on helping her tag team contend for the AEW tag team titles.
