People Reveal Free Stuff That No One Takes Advantage Of

Voting Rules
Vote up the stuff that you're happily willing to pay nothing for.

You like free stuff right? Who among of us with sound mind and soft (read: empty) pockets doesn't like to get a good bargain or deal, especially since the cost of everyday essentials and necessities rises so frequently. There are certain things only broke people with expensive tastes can understand but wanting to get relatively nice things for free is an almost universal desire.

There are certain bargain hunters with more experience than others, though, and luckily they seem to be a giving group. They've collaborated on Reddit to share with the masses all sorts of deals that tend to fly under the radar. Get ready to save; those free steals are all below.

    Free Promotional Products

    From Redditor /u/blmo:

If you write to companies about how much you love their products they'll send you free sh*t. That was one of our assignments in my 10th grade English class. I remember one girl wrote to McDonalds and they sent her like a coloring book and crayons and sh*t. I wrote to Arizona Green Tea because I used to be OBSESSED. And they sent me tons of $1 off coupons which was great because they're 99 cents each.

    Free Unwanted Goods

    From Redditor /u/ordinarybloke1963:

Freecycle.org, it’s a site where people post to get rid of often perfectly good things they don’t need anymore for free rather than dump them. You can search by locality and post your own unwanted goods.

    Free Online University Courses

    From Redditor /u/FullSend28:

Edx.org, it's a site with a bunch of free online university courses. While it isn't a replacement for a typical university education, it is perfect for people who like to continue to learn in a more structured manner.

    From Redditor /u/Junebug1515:

Sephora can give you up to 3 free smaples. Even perfume. They come in small spray type bottles. And I usually leave them in my purse and lasts longer than you’d think it would.
