  • The Buick Wildcat was a full-size automobile produced by the Buick Division of General Motors from 1963 to 1970. It took its name from a fiberglass-bodied 1953 concept car.

  • Buick LeSabre

    The Buick LeSabre, French for "the sabre", is a full-size upscale car made by the Buick division of General Motors from 1959-2005. For many years, the LeSabre was considered the entry level full-size Buick, carrying the lowest base price in the Buick lineup. Prior to 1959, this position had been retained by the full-size Buick Special model; in 1959 the LeSabre replaced the Special, a nameplate that was reintroduced in 1961 for Buick's line of compact cars. The name originated with the 1951 GM Le Sabre show car designed by Harley Earl; that car is often mistakenly attributed to the Buick marque, but in fact was built by GM.   • Buick Gran Sport

    The 1965 Skylark Gran Sport was the intermediate Buick Skylark with the Gran Sport option added. Although a 300 in³ V8 was already offered in the Skylark, the Gran Sport had the largest engine permitted by GM - a 400 cu in Buick V8. This engine was actually 401 cu in, but called a "400" by Buick because that was the maximum engine size limit set by General Motors for the intermediate body cars. This engine produced 325 hp and 445 lb·ft and was known as the "nailhead" engine. Buick sold more than 15,000 Skylarks with the Gran Sport option that first year, and almost as many the next.   • The Buick Lucerne was a full-size upscale sedan sold by the Buick division of General Motors from 2006 to 2011. Introduced at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show, the Lucerne replaced both the Park Avenue and the LeSabre for the 2006 model year. Based on a revised G platform, it served as Buick's flagship until replaced by the second generation Buick LaCrosse.
