The Morris Commercial J4 was a 10 cwt forward-control van launched by the Morris Commercial subsidiary of the British Motor Corporation in 1960 and produced with two facelifts until 1974. The van was marketed first as both the Morris J4 and the Austin J4. Following the formation of the British Leyland Motor Corporation in 1968, into which BMC, by then a subsidiary of British Motor Holdings, had been absorbed, the van was branded as the BMC J4. ...more on Wikipedia

The Morris Commercial J2 was a small, forward-control van launched by the Morris Commercial subsidiary of the British Motor Corporation in 1956 and produced until 1967. It was offered with the familiar B-series petrol engine, initially in 1489 cc form, but this was subsequently enlarged to 1622 cc. Until 1961 the van was sold alongside the relatively old-fashioned and slightly smaller Morris Commercial J-type. From 1960 the company also offered the slightly smaller Morris Commercial J4 which broadly followed the same overall architecture as the J2. The Morris Commercial C8 FAT, commonly known as a Quad, is an artillery tractor used by the British and Commonwealth forces during the Second World War. It was used to tow field artillery pieces, such as the 25-pounder gun-howitzer, and anti-tank guns, such as the 17-pounder. The Morris Commercial J-type is a 10 cwt van launched by the Morris Commercial subsidiary of Morris Motors in 1949 and produced until 1961. After the formation, by the merger of Morris' parent company, the Nuffield Organisation, and Austin, of the British Motor Corporation in 1952 Commercial was dropped and the van was marketed as the Morris J-type. The van followed the emerging trend of having forward controls and sliding doors on each side. It was made in both left and right hand drive versions.
