In today's dark world, funny Internet cartoons serve as reminders that there's humor in everything. J. L. Westover is a pioneer of such Internet cartooning and is best known for his clever dark humor. Westover's Mr. Lovenstein comics put a surprising and often macabre spin on ordinary perceptions, tackling everything from killer whales to those sneaking fears that a sibling is the favorite child. The illustrator has been creating art for the Internet since 2010, but in 2015, he raised over $12,000 through Kickstarter to fund his own book. The book contains a collection of comics from his website, in addition to some new bonus panels for previously published comics.
