Although the stigma around mental health treatment has lessened significantly as more and more people (from full-blown celebrities to personal friends and family members) have opened up about it, there can still be some trepidations regarding how transparently one can talk about therapy, its efficacy, and its importance. However, some people have gone to Twitter to help break the ice - by joking about their experiences they're not only able to make others laugh but also make them feel more comfortable having therapy and mental wellness as the subjects of conversation. From unhealthy coping mechanisms to the necessary awkwardness that talks with therapists can induce, these are some of our favorite tweets about therapy that made us laugh, and at times, felt incredibly relatable.
