Although the scenery on the HBO show is often as epic as the story lines, a lot of the exteriors and outdoor scenes are shot in very real locations in places like Iceland, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Malta, Spain, and Croatia. What are the coolest Game of Thrones filming locations you can visit?

    On Game of Thrones, Daenerys marched her unsullied through three cities known collectively as Slaver's Bay. Two of the fictional cities - Yunkai and Pentos - were filmed in Aït-Ben-Haddou, a fortified city north of Marrakesh. Other movies that were shot at this location include The Mummy, Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Babel, Prince of Persia, and many others.
