Vote up the best and most interesting weapons in all of the A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones world.
If there was ever a bloody orgy of violence, death, and devastation it was the world of Game of Thrones. If you're going to live there, you've got to be ready to throw down... and for that you're going to need some serious weaponry. The weapons on Game of Thrones vary in effectiveness and quality, but even the worst sword could have value to someone.
Of course, it's not just swords that matter in the world of Westeros. There are armies of zombies, dragons, magic, and enchanted swords... but which ones will be the most important when the White Walkers finally make it past the Wall? While poisons have played an incredibly important role in the plot, how effective will they be against an army of the undead.
So, for those of you who want to keep a tally on all the awesome weaponry and weapons from Game of Thrones - both in the story right now and what could be useful in events to come - check out the list below and vote up the best GoT weapons you'd be grabbing if a foe came your way.

Longclaw

Longclaw is a Valyrian steel sword and has been a prized possession of House Mormont for 500 years. When Jeor Mormont joined the Night's Watch, he gave the sword to his son, Jorah. After going into exile for selling slaves, Jorah returned the sword to his father. As a thank you to Jon Snow for saving his life many years later, Jeor gave the blade to him. Jon still has the sword, which saved his life at the battle of Hardhome when he used it to kill a White Walker.

Dragons

In Westeros and Essos, these bad boys are considered the ultimate weapons of mass destruction. Their fire breath can melt just about anything, a talent which allowed the dragon-riding Targaryens to conquer Westeros and rule it for three hundred years. Dragons may be powerful, but they're also very difficult to control. Currently, the only dragons in the world belong to Daenerys Targaryen.

Dragonglass
Photo: HBO
Also referred to as obsidian. A form of volcanic rock, dragonglass is one of the most valuable substances in Westeros. It's tied to the White Walkers in two very important ways: it created them and is one of the only substances that can destroy them. It's typically found beyond the wall and in Dragonstone. It's been used by the Children of the Forest, and Samwell Tarly found a supply for the Night's Watch at Hardhome, before it was lost.

Ice
Photo: HBO
A Valyrian steel greatsword and a prized possession of House Stark, Ice was handed down throughout the generations; its final keeper was Lord Eddard Stark. In its last days, it was used for executions... including Ned's. It was then melted down and reforged into two smaller swords: Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail.
Heartsbane is the ancestral sword of House Tarly. The blade is made of Valyrian steel and has been in their family for over 500 years. It sat on display on a mantal until Sam Tarly stole it in Season 6. In Season, he gives it to Ser Jorah for the Battle of Winterfell. The Valyrian steel allows the wielder to slay White Walkers.

Oathkeeper

Oathkeeper is a Valyrian steel sword melted down from Ned Stark's greatsword, Ice. Originally a gift from Tywin Lannister to his son Jaime, he gave it to Brienne of Tarth to aid her in her search for Arya and Sansa Stark. It features a lion head grip, the sigil of House Lannister. Once in combat, it cut clean through an inferior sword.
