The other $310 million are his personal assets. So what are these assets? What does Donald Trump own? Long before Mar-a-Lago became Donald Trump's lavish Florida retreat, the 20-acre estate was built in 1927 by cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post for $7 million. In 1973, she donated it to the US government with the intention that it would be used by the president as "the winter White House." However, the government found that maintaining the property was too much and returned it to the Post estate. It was put up for sale and bought by Donald Trump in 1985 for $5 million.

The estate includes a ballroom containing $7 million in gold leaf and four different gold-plated sinks. When it comes to Trump's possessions, it might be easier to name ones that aren't covered in gold.

    17 Different Golf Courses

That's right, Trump owns 17 golf courses. There's Trump International in Palm Beach, which cost over $40 million to design. There's also Trump National in Jupiter, Florida, which was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. There's also two in Scotland, one in Ireland, and even one in Dubai. With this many golf courses, you kind of have to wonder if Trump only likes golf because he got it confused with the word "gold."

    1956 Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce Replica

The Silver Cloud was reportedly one of the first cars Donald Trump ever owned. He liked owning the old Rolls-Royce model so much that he reportedly paid the company to make him a new one, just like the one he owned before. Of course, we can safely assume that he also had them plate it with as much gold as possible.

  • One of his best-known assets, Trump Tower is 58-story skyscraper in Manhattan. The top three floors are his personal Penthouse, which includes a few items on this list along with marble walls, Louis XIV-inspired furniture, gold-rimmed glasses, and a reproduction of Renoir's "La Loge" painting (but not the rumored solid gold toilet). The rest of the building has apartments and offices, as well as the Trump Grill, the Trump Cafe, and the Trump Bar. All in all, the building is valued at $371 million
