Diljit Dosanjh and Veena Malik appear in guest roles. Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is jointly produced by Tips Industries and UTV Motion Pictures. It was based on Haryanvi culture. The film was released on 24 February 2012. It received mostly positive response from critics and was declared an above average grosser by Box Office India. It is an unauthorised remake of Danny Boyle's film A Life Less Ordinary.

It is a remake of Gautham Menon's successful 2003 Tamil film, Kaakha Kaakha Starring Suriya and Jyothika in lead and is about a dutiful cop who chases the capture of a dreaded gangster. The film released on 30 September 2011, and received mostly positive reviews upon release, and was a commercial hit at the box office.John Abraham's performance was also praised by public and critics.

    Happy is a 2006 Indian romance film directed by A. Karunakaran. The film stars Allu Arjun, Genelia D'Souza and Manoj Bajpai in lead roles; music was scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was produced by Allu Aravind and released on 27 January 2006. Upon release, the film was dubbed into Malayalam and released with the title Happy be Happy. The Telugu version was moderately successful at the box office whereas the Malayalam version was a smash hit collecting 4.22 lakhs in its opening week at Ernakulam. The film was remade in Bengali under the title Bolo Na Tumi Amar starring Dev and Koel Mallick and in Oriya under the title Loafer starring Babushaan and Archita Sahu.

    Santosh Subramaniam is a 2008 Indian Tamil romantic comedy film directed by M. Raja and produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Genelia D'Souza in the lead roles, while Prakash Raj, Geetha and Sayaji Shinde play supporting roles. It is a remake of the successful Telugu film, Bommarillu. The film revolves around a father and son relationship; the father's dotes on his son, who resents the same. The son's choices and his ambitions to achieve something in life are subdued by his father. The film entered production in July 2007 and in addition to being shot in India, was also shot at the South Island of New Zealand. The film's soundtrack was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who retained the tunes he composed for Bommarillu. Santosh Subramaniam was released on 11 April 2008 during the Tamil New Year festival. The film was positively received and commercially successful; critics praised the performances of Ravi, D'Souza and Prakash Raj. The film won the third prize for the Best Film at the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards of 2008.
