Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shōgun Magginesu

Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shōgun Magginesu is a Super NES game by Konami released only in Japan, and the second of the SNES Ganbare Goemon games. This game was re-released along the first SNES Ganbare Goemon: Yuki-Hime Kyūshutsu Emaki in a Game Boy Advance compilation, which also remained in Japan. This game marks the debut of Goemon's giant robot Impact and of the clockwork ninja Sasuke as a playable character. The game has similarities to Super Mario World but it is shorter and arguably much more difficult.

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, known as Ganbare Goemon: Neo Momoyama Bakufu no Odori in Japan, is a platform/action-adventure video game released by Konami for the Nintendo 64 on August 7, 1997 in Japan and April 16, 1998 in North America as the fifth entry in the Ganbare Goemon series. The second Goemon game released in North America, it follows Legend of the Mystical Ninja and features hybrid elements of platform games like Super Mario 64 and action-adventure games like The Legend of Zelda series.
The story follows Goemon's struggles to prevent the Peach Mountain Shoguns gang from turning Japan into a Westernized fine arts theater. The plot calls for three cinematic musical features and battles between giant robots; like other Ganbare Goemon games, it's peppered with surrealist humor and anachronisms.
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon sold nearly 200,000 copies worldwide. Reviewers praised its graphics, gameplay, and humorous plot. Critics found the soundtrack and tunes memorable and moving, but criticized the localization, unintuitive camera control, and dull stretches of travel through Japan. Goemon's Great Adventure followed in 1999 and Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku in 2000.

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, is a light-hearted action-adventure game for 1-2 players by Konami, and was released for the Super NES in 1991. It was also ported to the Game Boy Advance along with Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shōgun Magginesu only in Japan.
It is the first game in the Japanese video game series Ganbare Goemon to have a western release. It has also been released for the Virtual Console in Japan, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. In North America and Europe, this game was followed by two different games for Nintendo 64, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon in 1998 and Goemon's Great Adventure in 1999, as all subsequent releases for the Super Nintendo were absent of western release. In Europe, two Game Boy versions of Mystical Ninja starring Goemon were released. One was a stand-alone game and the other was part of Konami GB Collection Vol. 3.

Goemon's Great Adventure

Goemon's Great Adventure, known as Mystical Ninja 2 Starring Goemon in Europe, is a video game developed and released by Konami for the Nintendo 64 on December 23, 1998. It is the third game in the Ganbare Goemon series released in North America and Europe, following Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, released two years earlier. Featuring platform gameplay in 2.5D, it marked the return of the series to a side-scrolling format.
The quirky story highlights Goemon's quest to stop the evil Bismaru, who has stolen Wise Man's resurrection machine. Goemon and his friends must journey through five worlds to battle the revived Dochuki, prince of the underworld, and destroy the captured device. Each world is designed with Japanese styles and themes, and Goemon's Great Adventure continues the series' tradition of offbeat, surreal humor.
The game was received well, selling over 160,000 copies worldwide. Reminiscent of older, 16-bit games, the side-scrolling system was lauded by reviewers, who also praised the two-player cooperative mode. The game's vibrant graphics and musical score earned high marks as well. Reviewers have considered it the best side-scroller for the Nintendo 64.

Ganbare Goemon: Ōedo Daikaiten

Ganbare Goemon: Ōedo Daikaiten is a Ganbare Goemon game released for the PlayStation on March 29, 2001.
A villain named Ecorori kidnaps Omitsu, and it's up to Goemon and his crew to stop him.
The game is extremely similar to Ganbare Goemon 2 for Super Famicom and Goemon's Great Adventure/Mystical Ninja 2 in that there's mostly sidescrolling levels, accompanied by some Impact bosses. Unlike previous Goemon games, which have used sprites or 3-D models for the characters, the characters are now represented by pre-rendered CGI, giving them a quasi-3-D look. Also, Yae is featured in her outfit that first appeared in Mononoke Suguroku.

Ganbare Goemon: Sarawareta Ebisumaru!

Ganbare Goemon: Sarawareta Ebisumaru! is a Game Boy game and the first game in the series released in for a portable system in 1991. Gameplay is similar to Ganbare Goemon! Karakuri Dōchū which was released on the Famicom. Only Goemon is playable, and the game consists of him rescuing Ebisumaru; Sasuke and Yae do not make appearances.

Ganbare Goemon: Kuru Nara Koi! Ayashige Ikka no Kuroi Kage

Ganbare Goemon: Kuru Nara Koi! Ayashige Ikka no Kuroi Kage is a Ganbare Goemon game released for the PlayStation on December 23, 1998. It was released alongside Goemon's Great Adventure for the Nintendo 64. It was the second game in the series released for the PlayStation and also the second game in 3D, following Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.
The game plays from a top-down view, and introduces a kick move to each character's repertoire of techniques.

Ganbare Goemon: Tengu-tō no Gyakushū! is a Ganbare Goemon game released for the Game Boy Color on January 14, 1999. Unlike most games in the series, this game is actually an role-playing game, a genre which was used first in the Ganbare Goemon Gaiden games for the Famicom. The game also borrows some concepts from the franchise's anime series.
The main protagonist in the game is a boy named Hiroshi, who somehow gets transported into a Ganbare Goemon game and teams with Goemon in order to save Japan from some evil force.

Ganbare Goemon! Karakuri Dōchū is a video game produced by Konami. It is the second game in the Ganbare Goemon series and the first released on a video game console and home computer. It was initially released for the Family Computer July 30, 1986 and later released for the MSX one year later. The Family Computer version was re-released in Japan only for the Game Boy Advance under the Family Computer Mini label and for the Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U under the Virtual Console service.

Its release marked the revival of the series' medieval Japanese themes and quirky humor, as previous games had taken place in a futuristic setting or with a more serious tone.

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon is a Ganbare Goemon series Game Boy game released in 1998. Featuring gameplay similar to the Super Famicom title Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishijūrokubē no Karakuri Manji Gatame, the game presents a new story in which Yae has been kidnapped by the Black Ship Gang.
