The Memphis 3, it never sat right with me. The three boys were killed by three of the "bad" teens of the town. I always thought it was the stepfather of one of the boys and he staged the scene. The teens were freed later and say they are innocent. Just my opinion.
It's not necessarily a cold case but a case that needs another look.
I agree with you 100% on that one. Something just didn't sit right about that case ... and then the [alleged] bite mark evidence they had that seemed to point to the stepfather of the one boys, but then the stepfather conveniently had his teeth removed just as they were trying to introduce the bite marks as evidence.
And when I watched the documentary, the stepfather's behavior was just so bizarre and over the top...
Marie Blee went missing 11/21/79 in my very small hometown of Hayden, Colorado. The police and the entire town [suspected a friend of hers]. They never had enough evidence or found her body.
15 year old Marie Blee was last seen on November 21, 1979 at a party at the Shadow Mountain Village mobile home park. Blee told a friend that she had a ride home with an unidentified driver during the early morning hours. She has never been heard from again. She was last seen wearing a purple collared v-neck top, a brown velvet vest, jeans, and a leather rope necklace.
The one of 9-year-old Asha Degree that went missing on Feb 14 , 2000 from Shelby NC. So sad that the parents still to this day don’t know what happened to her! I have a son just a year old so that really hit me. I have been praying since then that they get the answers they deserve. And there’s some justice!
It was 20 years ago that Asha Degree, a shy 9-year-old North Carolina girl, went missing in the middle of the night. The spirited fourth-grader’s disappearance in 2000 shook her rural community of Shelby and remains an enduring mystery, even as police, the FBI, and her family continue to actively search for clues.
'After 20 years, I still believe my daughter is alive,' said Iquilla Degree, who, with her husband Harold, still harbors hope that Asha (pronounced Ay-shuh) might find her way home. 'I do not believe she is dead. And I know someone knows something. I’m not crazy enough to think that a 9-year-old can disappear into thin air without somebody knowing something.'
Valentine's Day Special Episode: 22 years ago in the early morning hours of Valentine's Day, 2000, 9-year old Asha Degree left her home and made her way down a dark highway in the middle of the night. Why she left & what happened to her after is a mystery https://t.co/jcqwJ5C2cPpic.twitter.com/xEMTrpxKmM
The "Boy in the Box" that happened in 1957 is such a heartbreaking case, I cried. I just never understood how [anyone] could pretend like this little boy didn't exist. He was alone...
