The Greatest Los Angeles Kings of All Time

List RulesVote up each player only based on his time playing with the Kings.

A list of the greatest Los Angeles Kings of all time. Since the team's inception in 1967, the Kings were known as one of the NHL's perennial disappointments and underacheiving teams in the league. The team had some of the greatest players in hockey history to wear the black, silver, purple and gold, whether top Kings goalies or top goalscorers. In 1988, the Kings brought the best player to put on two skates to Los Angeles in Wayne Gretzky. However, the Great One wasn't able to propel the snakebit franchise to greatness, though in fairness he did lead them to a Stanley Cup finals berth in 1993. But the Kings fell short, despite having a number of franchise greats like Gretzky, Luc Robitaille and Rob Blake.

However, in 2012, after a 45 year wait, Los Angeles was treated to its first Stanley Cup after blitzing through the league. Led by new stars like goalie Jonathan Quick, the Kings's first Stanley Cup winner featured some of the brightest young stars in team history. Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar are among a group of players who are some the best players to suit up for the Kings.

So who are the greatest Los Angeles Kings of all time? Who are the best players to wear the Kings logo? This list aims to answer that question and if you notice that someone isn't on this list and should be considered among the top Kings players ever, feel free to add him to this list.
