The Greatest New Jersey Devils of All Time

A list of the greatest New Jersey Devils of all time. Originally the Colorado Rockies, the team moved to New Jersey in the early 1980s and became the Devils. Though it took the team a few years to get going, but once the 1990s rolled around, the Devils became one of the league's most consistent teams sporting the league's best players, at least on the defensive end. The Devils are known for their punishing defenses that would grind opposing players into the ground. They managed to win a slew of Stanley Cups between 1995 and 2003 powered by the likes of Hall of Fame goalie Martin Brodeur, defenseman Scott Stevens and Claude Lemieux.

Who are the best New Jersey Devils of all time? That depends on your point of view. If you want to harken back to those rough and tumble defensive days, you'd be more apt to vote no someone like John Maclean and Ken Danekyo. If you're a fan of the latter day successful Devil teams, you'd be more vote someone like Zach Parise or Ilya Kovalchuk.
