Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the Senators belong to the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL. Players like Alexei Yashin and Jason Spezza are two men who rock the red, white, gold, and black like nobody's business.
There are more players, however, who have made the Ottawa Senators what they are today. The Senators are much more effective than the people in Congress who have the same title. Frank was nicknamed the "Shawville Express", (Shawville is a town on the Quebec side of the Ottawa river, in the Ottawa area) playing for the Ottawa Senators 1923 - 1933. He was an integral member of the 1927 Stanley Cup Champion team, the last time the Ottawa Senators brought home a Cup. His number was retired by the Ottawa Senators in their inagural (returning) season (#8). It is one of only two numbers to be retired by the Senators, the other being Daniel Alfredsson's (#11).
