Nicholas Rodney Drake (19 June 1948 – 25 November 1974) was an English singer-songwriter known for his acoustic guitar-based songs. Though he failed to find a wide audience during his lifetime, his work has since achieved wider recognition.Drake signed to Island Records when he was 20, while a student at the University of Cambridge. He released his debut album, Five Leaves Left, in 1969, followed by the jazzier, more upbeat Bryter Layter (1971) and the sparse Pink Moon (1972). The albums sold, in total, fewer than 4,000 copies in his lifetime. Drake's reluctance to perform live or give interviews contributed to his lack of success.

Joseph Alberto "Joey" Santiago (born June 10, 1965) is a Filipino-American guitarist and composer. Active since 1986, Santiago is best known as the lead guitarist for the American alternative rock band the Pixies. After the band's breakup in 1993, Santiago produced musical scores for film and television documentaries, and he formed The Martinis with his ex-wife, Linda Mallari. He also contributed to albums by Charles Douglas and former Pixies band-mate Frank Black. Santiago resumed his role as the Pixies' lead guitarist when they reunited in 2004.

Abdee Negara (born June 28, 1968, Donggala) is an Indonesian guitarist, back vocalist, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as Slank's guitarist with fellow guitarist, Ridho, and also has played with many national and international guitarist, including Paul Gilbert. Besides working with Slank, his main band, he is also a producer of another Indonesian band, Serieus. Since the beginning of his career, Negara has presented a rock-blues style of playing.
