J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World is a fascinating place full of characters we love and loathe, and it begs the question: which Harry Potter character are you? Every character has their own backstory, personality, and style, but if you went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who would you be?
Perhaps you would be Harry Potter himself, the wise (and sometimes whiny) hero, or maybe a professor like the lovely but sassy Minerva McGonagall. Is there a chance you could be a Death Eater and serve He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named? It all depends on your personality.
Thankfully, astrology has already done the hard work, so you don't need to sign up for Professor Trelawney's Divination class to find the Harry Potter character for each sign. By examining how the movements of the constellations impact events here on Earth, star charts can help determine which Harry Potter character you are according to your sign, or even which Hogwarts House fits you best. Have a look below at the wizarding world characters by zodiac sign, and don't forget to check your tea leaves.

As a Fire sign, Aries tends towards leadership, passion, and more than a little stubbornness. The Ram is well known for its iron will and determination, which is very effective... until it isn't. Sometimes, an Aries's self confidence allows them to push too far and make mistakes - or worse.
Sirius Black oozes Aries energy with his bold schemes and strong opinions. His determination to reach Harry after he escapes Azkaban shows how well his single-minded efforts can pay off over time. He's obviously the coolest uncle ever, but ultimately his headstrong attitude leads to his (sniff sniff) untimely demise.

A Taurus has a similar level of persistence as an Aries, but also possesses reliability and dash of romance because it's an Earth sign. They quickly alternate between bullish, full-steam-ahead energy, and relaxed patience; however, one downside to the Bull is that they may get comfortable and avoid conflict or struggle.
Both a fearless friend and a teenager just looking for a good meal, Ron Weasley keeps it Taurean at all times. He's ready to fight for his friends at the drop of a hat, but he'd really rather spend the afternoon grabbing a butterbeer by the fire in Hogsmeade. Who wouldn't? Ron deserves a few butterbeers for playing second fiddle for seven years and barely ever getting credit.
Gemini (May 21-June 20): Draco MalfoyPhoto: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince / Warner Bros.
Gemini, symbolized by The Twins, is clever and collaborative; however, in a more negative light, they can appear two-faced, deceptive, and at odds with themselves, but that's just their brilliant mind on overdrive. It can be confusing to know which Gemini you're going to meet on any given day, but that's supposedly part of the fun.
Though he catches a lot of hate for his multitude of terrible decisions, Draco Malfoy's dualistic nature is uber Gemini. Since he is constantly conflicted about whether he really buys into the whole Death Eater "ethnic cleansing" thing, Draco stumbles over his own feet more than a few times. He never really sorts himself out, but, hey, there's always the next seven books, right?

Cancer nurtures all, feels a whole lot of feelings, and loves to stay at home; they may lash out or become overwhelmed by their emotions, and as a Water sign, this can come and go quickly. Codependency is common among Cancers, so a little freedom goes a long way.
Dobby might as well be in the dictionary under "Cancer." As a house elf, he's got the nurturing domestic side well covered, and sometimes he's just a literal pillowcase full of emotions. You can't blame him, though - he likely has a lot of PTSD from his days as a "house elf" AKA "slave." Just like a Cancer, sometimes Dobby needs a little room.
