Rightfully so, most of the attention in the Harry Potter franchise belongs to the wizarding heroes. Die hard fans, however, have pointed out some incredible details about the less-focused on characters in the movies-- giants, house elves, the Basilisk, and the other magical beasts of Hogwarts. Have you ever noticed that in Deathly Hallows, Part 2, the Basilisk's bones remain in the exact position it died in during Chamber of Secrets? Also in Deathly Hallows, Part 2, fans have pointed out that a giant charges into battle using a broken quidditch post as a weapon. There are even some details that are almost imperceptible. In Chamber of Secrets, if you closely, you'll notice a student bump into a thestral while walking behind Harry and Ron.
No matter what Hogwarts house you belong to, this list of small details about the magical beasts of Harry Potter is a must read. Check it out and make sure to vote up your favorites.
