Harry using the Elder wand to repair the old holly and Phoenix feather wand was a big deal for me and was omitted in the film.

Peeves And SPEW Didn't Make The Cut In The Movies

    From Redditor u/micaroo411:

Lack of Peeves and SPEW. Dobby not getting his full story told or getting to see his free elf attire.

    From Redditor u/beckiblackout:

I miss the ghosts (Peeves and the death day party) SO much in the movies. They helped establish Hogwarts itself as a character.

The Concept Of Secret Keepers Doesn't Exist In The Movies

    From Redditor u/Nimrif1214:

It annoys me that there is no mention of the concept of secret keepers (fidelius charm?) in PoA. In the book, Wormtail was a bigger traitor because only he could have told anyone where the Potters were. James trusted Wormtail with his life via a spell. It also put so much suspicion on Sirius since everyone thought he was the secret keeper.

In the movie, it was just Peter telling Voldemort. There should not be any suspicion on Sirius since anyone could have told Voldemort.

    From Redditor u/IBlazeMyOwnPath:

Dobby not mattering at all past the second book, but especially in OoTP until he is shoehorned in last second in seven to make his death matter (which it didn’t).

    From Redditor u/IBlazeMyOwnPath:

Voldemort’s confetti death completely ruining how important it was that there was a body.
