Harry and his friends went through a lot of heartbreak throughout the series but the parents who raised them faced a lot of issues themselves during and especially before their kids came along. These fans are pointing out the saddest things that happened to the people who raised our heroes and villains.
A few of my friends never realised that Molly's brothers, Gideon and Fabian Prewett, we in the Order, and that they died during the First War. They also didn't really catch that the watch Molly gives Harry when he turns 17 was really sentimental and pretty much saying to him "You're part of this family."
