Haunting Photos Of Underwater Wrecks
Vote up the eeriest images.
There are a lot of unknowns at the bottom of the sea - sea creatures, underwater plants, and total blackness. Also, remnants of ships and aircraft. When these massive bits of machinery sink, they're left to deteriorate for decades and are at the mercy of the tide and animal life.
Without much time, sea life takes over and the remains are covered in algae and coral - these underwater shipwrecks lose their average appearance and take on a ghost-like quality. Along with the distant black waters and tinged green blue hue, these ships and aircraft are straight out of a horror film. Those with thalassophobia are even more affected. But no one is immune from seeing the spookiness of these sunken disasters.
