Let's face it. The women in Disney movies usually have a rough go of it. Belle must sacrifice her own freedom to save her father. Rapunzel is manipulated and locked up by Mother Gothel. Princess Aurora gets cursed to eternal slumber, for crying out loud! Not everything these ladies go through is easy to spot, however. That's where dedicated Disney fans come in, always ready to share small, heartbreaking details we may have missed. In Frozen, for example, Elsa gets shackled with magical chains that bind her power. In all likelihood, they were made by her parents (not Hans), just in case she ever got out of control. In Encanto, while Luisa sings "Surface Pressure" to Mirabel, she makes an allusion to the Titanic. Look closely, however, and you'll see the historic ship actually bears the Madrigal family name. Sometimes these details are simply in a look. In The Lion King, when Zazu tells Simba and Nala they will one day be married, Simba looks totally disgusted. Nala... not so much.

Nani Gives Up Competitive Surfing In 'Lilo & Stitch'
The type of chains Elsa has on were obviously made for her. However, Hans could not have made them because no idea that covering Elsa's hands stopped her powers and also didn't resources at the time to make them. The only people who could have known this were her parents. Elsa's parents made a cell specifically for their daughter in case she got out of control.
