List RulesVote up the uplifting MCU moments that you didn't expect to be moved by.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is riddled with epic battles, deep-seated drama, and gut-wrenching finales. Even though Marvel feature films are undoubtedly action-packed, let's not forget about all the times that heartwarming MCU moments transformed audiences into complete piles of sentimental mush. As the superheroes and villains of the MCU zip through their timelines on momentous journeys, they also manage to wiggle their ways into the hearts of comic book fans across the globe - and they don't achieve that feat with just fighting alone. Whether it's giving a nervous super-soldier a well-needed pep talk or bonding with relatives that were presumed to be long lost, the sweetest MCU moments transform otherwise rugged and rough superbeings into touching examples of family and friendship.

  • In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Yondu, the Ravager that abducted Peter Quill and raised him as one of their own, meets his end by sacrificing himself to save Peter.

In a traditional sendoff, the Ravager clans join together to commemorate Yondu. They join together to send fireworks exploding across the sky as the Guardians admire their tactics of merging the fanfare of a Ravager funeral with shooting stars and galactic backgrounds.

  • In an attempt collect the Infinity Stones from the past, Tony Stark goes back in time in Avengers: Endgame. Here, in 1970, he encounters his father from the past, Howard Stark. As they part ways, Howard asks Tony about fatherhood, and if he was nervous and felt qualified before the birth of his daughter, since Howard is expecting a son - the future Tony Stark. Tony tells his father that he remembers the good things about him and that he knew that "no amount of money ever bought a second of time."

Howard leaves telling Tony that, even though his kid isn't here yet, there's nothing in the world that he wouldn't do for him.
