She is best known for her 15-year run (1985–2000) on the talk show Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, which she co-hosted with Regis Philbin. She is also known for her 11-year run with Hoda Kotb, on the fourth hour of NBC's Today show (2008–2019). She has received 11 Daytime Emmy nominations and won her first Daytime Emmy in 2010 as part of the Today team. Lulu Roman (born Bertha Louise Hable on May 6, 1946) is an American comedian and singer. She is known as a regular on the comedy-music show Hee Haw, which debuted in 1969. Lulu, Misty Rowe, Linda Thompson, Roni Stoneman and Gunilla Hutton are survivors of the cast. Roman was born with a thyroid dysfunction in a home for unwed mothers and placed in Buckner Orphans Home. She attended W. W. Samuell High School in Dallas, graduating in 1964.During her stint on Hee Haw, she went through a bout of drug addiction, which resulted in her absence from the program for several seasons during the middle portion of its long run.
