List Rules Vote for your personal favorite films about heists, regardless of how popular or successful they were at the box office.

There's no question that when you're talking about the best heist movies of all time, that some films are just bound to come up in the conversation. Many argue that The Italian Job is the top heist movie of all time, while others say that Heat or The Thomas Crown Affair actually deserve that title. For that reason, we're leaving the order of this best heist films list up to you. Cast your votes for what you consider to be the greatest heist films, and downvote the ones you didn't enjoy as much.

If you're unfamiliar with the genre, heist movies typically involve a scheme to pull off an elaborate robbery with high risk and even higher rewards. Almost all heist movies feature a team or crew of people who take part in the theft, each with their own set of skills that will help with the mission. Take the Ocean's Trilogy for example, or the fan favorite Snatch.

This list of heist movies features films with all sorts of locations, including casinos, banks, and more. Add one of your favorites to the list if it's missing, but only if you believe it to be a great heist movie. And if you're just looking for bank heist movies, we have a list on that too.

Ralph Thomas and Noel Clarke are among the directors who have worked on Heist movies in the past.
