The Highest-Paid Female Athletes Of 2019

Voting Rules
Limited to female athletes who made more than $5 million in 2019

The highest-paid female athletes are almost all household names the world over. Among sports fans, their talent and fame is unquestioned, and their place among the richest female athletes in the world is unquestioned. But while all of the highest-paid female sports stars on this list made more than $5 million, the pay disparity in the sports world remains staggers. Only 15 women in sports made more than $5 million, while more than 1,300 male athletes made over that amount in 2019.

Tennis superstar and global brand Serena Williams continues to be the standard bearer for the highest-earning female athletes, making nearly $30 million in 2019, though $25 million came from endorsements off the court rather than her many on-court accomplishments. However, tennis appears to be leading the way in getting its top female stars paid as the top 10 highest-paid female athletes in 2019 were all from the world of tennis.

Also on this list are U.S. Women's Soccer star Alex Morgan, Indian badminton player P. V. Sindhu, and Thai golfer Ariya Jutanugarn, making for a wholly international list that runs the gamut of popular professional women's sports. So check out the names below, then head over and vote on the most influential female athletes ever.
