Our favorite Disney movies have a lot in common. Magical plotlines. Colorful heroes and villains. Memorable songs and scores. Something that often gets overlooked, however, are the hilarious small details that slip by unnoticed. Thankfully for us, fans online have spotted many of them. For example, in Aladdin, when Iago gets hit on the head he doesn't see little birdies flutter above him as most cartoon humans would. Instead, he sees little humans. In Hercules, we get a joke with some history attached to it. When a group of kids gets trapped under a boulder, one of them calls out, "Someone call IX-I-I," which are the Roman numerals for 9-1-1. Some of these little details are all about performance. In The Lion King, Timon's line “What do you want me to do? Dress in drag and do the hula?” was improvised by actor Nathan Lane. The filmmakers liked it so much they animated a scene to include it.

Iago Sees Sultans Swirling Over His Head Instead Of Birds In 'Aladdin'
In Disney’s The Lion King, The line 'What do you want me to do? Dress in drag and do the hula?' was improvised by Timon’s voice actor Nathan Lane. The director liked the line so much, he decided to make a scene for it.
Disney follows through: In Lion King, Zazu exclaims that Scar 'would make a very handsome throw rug.' This is later fulfilled in Disney’s Hercules movie.
In Zootopia, when Nick says they have 10 hours left to find Mr. Otterton, he holds up all eight of his fingers. Judy notices that it doesn't add up, but shrugs it off.
