The number of Hindu celebrities in Hollywood might surprise you. This list contains information about celebrities who are Hindu, loosely ranked by fame and popularity. Several famous actors, musicians, important figures, and athletes practice Hinduism. Some of these celebrities were born into households who practice the Hindu religion, while others converted later in life. 

Who is the most famous person who is Hindu? Julia Roberts converted from Christianity to Hinduism around the time that she was filming the 2010 film Eat, Pray, Love. A bunch of famous Hindus are musicians. George Harrison converted from Christianity to Hinduism in the mid-1960s. Other famous followers of Hinduism include M.I.A., Kal Penn, and Jerry Garcia.
