Hit and Run Movie Quotes

"Hit and Run" movie quotes take audiences on quite the adventure in the 2012 movie written, directed, produced and starring Dax Shepard. In "Hit and Run," Shepard portrays Charlie Bronson, a seemingly nice guy who just happens to have a secret past that involves robbing banks. When his past comes back to haunt him, the romantic action comedy hits the road along with Charlie for fast-paced and often vulgar fun.

Charlie wakes up next to his beautiful girlfriend, Annie (Shephard's real-life catch Kristen Bell) and remarks on how good his life is. Moments later he's taking a golf club to the face when his former best friend and partner in crime Alex (Bradley Cooper) is back for revenge. With no time to explain, Charlie packs up Annie and they both head off towards Los Angeles in a race to find money Charlie buried there years earlier.

Along the way, Annie begins to learn more about Charlie's past, including that he was a getaway driver for bank robbers and helped put his buddy Alex in prison where very bad things happened. Along the way they encounter a number of colorful characters including Clint (Beau Bridges), Debbie (Kristin Chenoweth), and Randy (Tom Arnold), the clumsy but persistent US Marshall assigned to Charlie as part of his involvement in the Witness Protection Program.

The adult comedy and nudity in the R-rated comedy is not for everyone but there's plenty more at the box office to entertain all audiences. New for summer 2012 is also the likes of "The Campaign," "The Babymakers," "Ted," "Celeste and Jesse Forever," "Madea's Witness Protection," "Magic Mike," "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Dark Knight Rises."

Debbie: "Annie, you deserve so much more than this. I went to football games and blacked out and got date-raped. I worried too much about what my boyfriends thought. I got what I deserved, but that's not you! ... There's some Zannies in here."
    Annie: "Debbie, I don't need..."
Debbie: "Take it... If you mix it with wine or beer it sort of supercharges it."
