Which Hogwarts House Would You Be Sorted Into, According To Your Zodiac?

Your zodiac says a lot about you, and in the Wizarding World, it's almost as good as a genuine sorting hat. Why sit through that undeniably boring ceremony when you can just look at the stars? The Harry Potter houses and the zodiac are closely linked. There's a Hogwarts House for each zodiac sign, whether you're a natural born leader like a Gryffindor or possess some of the less desirable traits of a Slytherin.

Each Hogwarts house stands for a defining personality trait. If you're a Ravenclaw, you've got smarts. If you're a Gryffindor, you're brave. If you're a Hufflepuff, you're loyal, and if you're a Slytherin, you're cunning (and probably not evil unless you're also a Scorpio, in which case you may just toe the line of Death Eater). Harry Potter is a Leo himself and basically defines what it means to be a Gryffindor. Though Ron Weasley, a Pisces, was sorted into Gryffidor in the books, who is he kidding? Even Rupert Grint admitted the dude was a total Hufflepuff. Hermione is a Virgo, which is perhaps why so many people argue that she should've been a Ravenclaw.

Here's where you would be sorted according to your sign – from the fairness of a Hufflepuff Libra to the cunning of a Slytherin Cancer.

  • Aries – Gryffindor (March 21-April 19)

Aries are natural born leaders, so obviously they're joining Harry, Hermione and Ron in Gryffindor. Wear your gold and red as proudly as you wear your unwavering sense of self. Aries may be outspoken and fearless, but they also have a tendency to brood. Whether you're contemplating if Voldemort truly is a part of you or whether or not you should erase your parent's memory in order to protect them, you don't always have to be a lone hero. Ask for help! Aries (and Gryffindors) have a tendency to be a bit stubborn once they're set in their plans for saving the world. Not everything is a competition (unless of course, you're playing Quidditch).

  • Taurus – Slytherin (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus possesses all the negative traits of a Slytherin – they can be lazy, stubborn, overindulgent, vain, and they definitely, definitely enjoy the finer things in life (like an expensive, top-of-the-line wand). House founder Salazar Slytherin favored pure-bloods, and this isn't that far off from a Taurus's stubborn sense of pride. On the flip-side, Taurus is driven. They go so hard in one direction that it's often difficult to shift gears. They're committed and resilient.

When it comes down to it, Taurus runs at two separate speeds: binging Netflix and eating one too many decadent cauldron cakes, or full-speed ahead, charging at their enemies.

  • Gemini – Ravenclaw (May 21 – June 20)

Your quick-witted mind and general cunning makes you an easy grab for Slytherin; however, you've got two sides and they both don't fit. You're analytical and outspoken when discussing your passions and navigate conversation topics at lightning speed, but you have a tendency to be anti-social when you've either moved on from a subject or got lost in a daydream. This throws you into Ravenclaw, where your smarts, curiosity and creativity are your defining traits. And don't worry; you can totally be the life of the party without literally sucking the life from the party like a Slytherin who brings along their Death Eater pals, uninvited.

  • Cancer – Slytherin (June 21 – July 22)

While you may be interpreted as a Hufflepuff because of your mushy insides, Cancer, you're Slytherin all the way. You might be riding a wave of emotion (causing a rather unpredictable temperament), but no one would know it on the outside. Your biggest asset is understanding emotions because you feel so deeply. It certainly allows you to easily manipulate others to get what you want - but you swear you only use your Slytherin powers for the greater good. No Voldemort here.
