In "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit," the title character (Chris Pine) works as a CIA analyst and stumbles on something big, evidence that a world-changing terrorist attack is coming. William Harper: "You stick to the scheduled audit tomorrow, everything official, everything in public. You'll be fine. I need for you to be fine."
Jack Ryan: "You know you sold this as an office job."
William Harper: "You're not just an analyst anymore. You're operational now."

With good reason, Jack is a little afraid of what he will face in the field. William tries to give him a quick pep talk but perhaps the gun he also gives Jack will provide more reassurance.

Embee: "You go and register. I'll help you upstairs with the bags."
Jack Ryan: "No, that's okay, I can get it from here."
Embee: "I'm supposed to check the room."
Jack Ryan: "Okay"
Hotel Employee: "Welcome, Mr. Ryan. Just your signature please."
Embee: "Mr. Cherevin hopes the room will be to your satisfaction. Ah, yes, and the view is second to none."
Jack Ryan: "Wow, that is magnificent!"

Jack checks into his hotel room in Moscow and is surprised at the luxurious suite waiting for him. Also in the surprising category: The fact that Embee is now trying to kill him and that he is unexpectedly good at defending himself.
