"Jack the Giant Slayer" movie quotes put a spin on the "Jack the Giant Killer" and "Jack and the Beanstalk" fairy tales as humans are forced to battle giants to rescue a captured princess. The fantasy adventure film was adapted into a screenplay by Darren Lemke, Christopher McQuarrie and Dan Studney and directed by Brian Singer, who previously saw success with the "X-Men" franchise. "Jack and the Giant Slayer" was released in 2D and 3D on March 1, 2013.

In "Jack and the Giant Slayer," simple farm boy Jack (Nicholas Hoult) stumbles upon some beans, which he thinks little of. Later, Jack meets princess Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson) when she arrives at his home looking for shelter. The princess, having been sheltered by her father, King Brahmwell (Ian McShane), for so long, yearns for more adventure in her life, a trait that Jack she shares with Jack. But when those beans Jack found lead to beanstalks sprouting up from underneath his home, taking Isabelle along with them, this creates a bit more adventure than either were seeking.

On the orders of the king, Elmont (Ewan McGregor), the leader of the king's elite guard, gathers a team of men to journey into the land of the giants to rescue Isabelle and return her safely. Along with Jack, Elmont and his men set off to conquer the giants, which does not turn out to be a small task. Back at home, another power struggle is brewing as Lord Roderick (Stanley Tucci), an advisor to the king, seeks more power, even if that means taking out the king for his own benefit.

The fantasy tale of "Jack and the Giant Slayer" joins a winter-spring 2013 movie lineup already filled with other action-packed titles such as "A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III," "Side Effects," "Identity Thief," "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters," "Stand Up Guys," "Warm Bodies," "Bullet to the Head," "Movie 43," "Django Unchained," "Killing Them Softly," "Hitchcock," "Skyfall," "Lincoln," "Flight," "Playing for Keeps," and "Silver Linings Playbook."

Bar Patron: "We're sorry, sir. We don't want any trouble."
Jack: "Good, cause that's what you're gonna get. Trouble, yeah, all three of you, a whole lot of… There's someone behind me, isn't there?"
