Who hasn't imagined themselves as Godzilla, Mothra, or some other member of the giant monster gang? If you've seen all the great giant monster movies, you've probably wondered what it would be like to fly, breathe fire, or crush tall buildings with your reptilian foot. Wonder no longer. The stars hold the answer to your kaiju characteristics.
It turns out there's a Japanese movie monster for each zodiac sign. Each giant Japanese monster has a personality all their own, making it easy to imagine which stars they were born under.
Aries is marked by their will and determination, and what beast is more determined than Megalon? With its drill hands and armored wings, Megalon flies at Mach 3 and burrows at Mach 2. And it just keeps drilling away.
Aries will appreciate Megalon's goal-oriented persona (goal: defeat Godzilla) and boundless energy. Though Megalon eventually falls to the King of the Monsters, it proves itself a most worthy adversary.
Taurus is bound to fall in love with Minilla, probably the gentlest of the monsters. The son of Godzilla is trained by his dad purely in defensive fighting against the giant mantises that terrorize his home island. He never raises a hand as an aggressor in either of his two films.
But don't be fooled; Minilla is tough in his own right. In Destroy All Monsters, he takes out one of King Ghidorah's heads all by his lonesome. He's gentle, but don't push.
Okay, so Ghidorah (known as Gidrah in early American versions) has three heads, not two. But what other giant beast could so perfectly represent the split nature of the Twins?
King Ghidorah seeks change; he's always the monster that won't cooperate, always moving and blasting away. Like Gemini, he's eternally looking for action, but can't quite decide on a direction.
No monster better represents the unpredictable nature of Cancer than the morphing Monster X from Godzilla: Final Wars. He fires beams from his eyes and fights using telekinesis, which is pretty cool. And just when you think you have him down for the count... surprise! He transforms into Keizer Ghidorah and uses his three heads and relentless energy to take the fight to the Big G.
Cancer embodies this beast's infinite surprises and changeable nature.
