Famous Jews who play professional sports, with photos in many cases. As a Jew, athletes who compete professionally and proudly as Jews are a real inspiration to me. And, this list of prominent Jewish athletes is my way of celebrating them. It's a long list, including players from many different sports, starting with baseball which has always been big with us Jews, but the list includes boxers, basketball players, former Olympic competitors, etc - all sports stars - and frankly many benchwarmers - that I could think of are listed here. Every notable team player or individual athlete of Jewish descent should be found on this list.
