Thanks to movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Edward Scissorhands, we're pretty used to seeing Johnny Depp looking, well... odd. In fact, we expect it from him. He's a true chameleon and he proved just that when he voiced Rango the chameleon in Rango.
Any time he appears on the red carpet, he inspires the question: "Is that look for a new movie or is it Johnny Depp just being Johnny Depp?" While playing Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of the Caribbean movies, he seemed to take Jack along with him on every red carpet, at least when it came to his hairstyle and swash-buckling jewelry. It only makes sense that Tim Burton (who also has very unique hair) chose the often be-hatted Depp to take on the role of The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland. Well, that and the fact that Depp was perfect for it, and Burton and the actor seem to be best buds. They've made 7 movies together!
Whether it's thrown in a hat, slicked back and sexy, or fresh out of bed, Johnny's hair is always fitting for the actor who's a little mischievous and a lot quirky. But we wouldn't want him, or his hair, any other way.So take a look at our list of Johnny Depp hairstyles (don't be scared!) and vote up the ones you think are the hottest.
