We're heading to a new dimension. One of sound. One of sight. One produced by Jordan Peele, the mastermind behind Get Out. The Twilight Zone reboot looks like it's going to give Black Mirror a run for its money.

The long-awaited reboot of Rod Sterling's television opus will be available exclusively on the CBS All Access streaming service starting April 1, 2019, but there's already a ton of information out there to get us excited for the premiere. The new show is trying hard to remain faithful to the original series, while also featuring fresh and exciting new voices. And based on the first look, this experiment seems to be working.

Peele's Twilight Zone is going to be packed with film and television stars, and there will be a few heavy hitters behind the scenes as well. If you're still not excited, these production details will have you itching to cross over into The Twilight Zone. We've also got you covered if you're looking for other shows like The Twilight Zone to watch.

  • The Series Is Produced And Hosted By Jordan Peele

Jordan Peele, the Academy Award-winning writer of Get Out, is producing The Twilight Zone reboot. In September 2018, CBS announced Peele would also serve as the on-camera host and narrator of the series. The Hollywood Reporter quoted Peele

Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.

Rod Serling was the creator behind the original Twilight Zone series, which he also hosted and narrated. This announcement makes it pretty clear that Peele is fully stepping into Serling's shoes for the reboot.

  • Episodes Feature Guest Stars From Other Famous Horror Properties

The star-studded cast of The Twilight Zone will be particularly exciting for horror fans. Actors from across the horror and thriller spectrum have joined the project, including Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), Allison Tolman (Krampus), Taissa Farmiga (The Nun, American Horror Story), and Oscar-nominated child actor Jacob Tremblay (Room, The Predator).

  • The Official Trailer Looks Amazing

The official trailer for the series was uploaded on February 20, 2019, and it certainly builds the hype. We get our first glimpses of the star-studded cast, as well as a few Easter eggs from the original series. For a split moment, we see a doll wash up on a shore that looks eerily similar to the creature from the original "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet."

There's a lot to unpack about this trailer, but it teases an incredible looking show.

  • Adam Scott Stars In A New Adaptation Of 'Nightmare At 30,000 Feet'

Fans of The Twilight Zone will undoubtedly remember "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" from either the original series episode, starring William Shatner, or the 1983 film remake, featuring John Lithgow. Both versions follow an airplane passenger who witnesses a strange creature on the plane's wing, but nobody onboard believes him. The episode is a horror classic, and it's about to go to new heights with a 21st-century update.

Adam Scott is set to star in "Nightmare at 30,000 Feet." The title might be an update, but it's unclear what aspects of the story will remain the same.
