If You Didn't Like The Ad, What NFL Player Would You Rather See In The New Nike Campaign?

List Rules If you're unsatisfied with the new Nike ad, vote up the football players you think deserve to represent the brand. Only add active or retired NFL stars, no players who have died.

Thirty years after the inception of Nike's "Just Do It" advertisements, the company launched a new iteration of the campaign to mixed reactions.

The advertisement features a close-up of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick along with the phrase, "Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything." Kaepernick hasn't been officially tied to an NFL team since after the 2016 season in which he took a knee during the National Anthem in opposition of police brutality. Based on Nike's new advertisement, it seems as though the corporation agrees with Kaepernick's choice.

While many groups applauded Nike for keeping Kaepernick's message in the front of people's minds, others were totally turned off by the campaign, and some have even taken to burning their Nike products. While everyone has their own reason for liking or disliking the ad, some almost assuredly believe the honor should have gone to another player.

If you aren't satisfied with Nike's choice, it's time to vote up the NFL players you would have preferred to see in the ad. Do you think Nike should have chosen a seasoned veteran like Terry Bradshaw, or a celebrated champion like 2018 Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles? Only add active or retired NFL stars, no players who have died.  If you think Colin Kaepernick is the perfect choice, please abstain from voting.
