"Kick-Ass 2" movie quotes bring the superhero action comedy movie "Kick-Ass" back for a second helping. The film, which follows up the 2010 hit, was written and directed by Jeff Wadlow based on the comic book series of the same name written by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. "Kick-Ass 2" was released in the United States on August 16, 2013.

In "Kick-Ass 2," the story picks up after the events in the original film with Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) continuing his fight against crime by dressing up in a costume to battle the villains as superhero Kick-Ass. With his partner in justice Mindy Macready/Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) by his side ready to fight crime, she's not the only one as many others have heard about what the team does and are eager to join the team, especially Sal Bertolinni/Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey).

Their plans to battle crime are hindered when the local police try to shut them down and when Hit Girl opts to leave the team to return to normal life. Kick-Ass and crew however are left with little choice to fight on when Chris D'Amico/Red Mist/The MotherF***** (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) assembles a team of his own and vows to revenge the death of his father.

If one "Kick-Ass" was enough for you, check out other great movies playing at the same time including "We're the Millers, "Elysium," "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters," "2 Guns," "Blue Jasmine," "The Wolverine," "The To Do List," "Only God Forgives," "Girl Most Likely," "Red 2," "R.I.P.D.," "Pacific Rim," "Grown Ups 2," "The Lone Ranger," "Despicable Me 2," "The Heat," "White House Down," "World War Z," "Man of Steel," "This Is the End," and "Olympus Has Fallen."
