Voting Rules
Vote up the strangest, most outlandish titles the North Korean dictator bestowed on himself.

Kim Jong-Il was North Korea's dictator from 1994 to 2011. As leader of the world's premier cult of personality, Kim's name was never to be mentioned without official superlatives. And there were a lot. According to The Economist , Kim passed with over 1,200 different titles bestowed on him, from variations on "dear leader" (great, brilliant, unique, etc.) to unearned military titles to flowery, operatic nonsense . Which of the many, many Kim Jong-Il fake titles make you laugh out loud?

From his first steps into North Korean royalty to his last days leader, Kim kept piling up honorifics, titles, and designations. Some were given by the state-run media, others by governmental organizations in thrall to the Dear Leader, and some were akin to essentially being the god of your own religion. Even after passing, he kept piling up titles, being named " Eternal General Secretary of the Party" in 2012.

Here are some of the strangest, most ludicrous and totally made up titles North Korea's late Dear Leader gave himself during his lifetime.
