The film is one of four body swap comedies to appear in the space of a year; the others were the Italian film Da grande, 18 Again! and Vice Versa. The blockbuster Big had a similar premise as well. Shortly thereafter, Dream a Little Dream also had a body swap theme involving teenagers.
